Probability bands
High · Medium · Low · Very Low — how to read your shortlist
High
Your score/rank is comfortably inside recent closing cutoffs for that branch — historically a safer preference in early counselling rounds.
Medium
Close to the closing cutoff. Possible in later rounds or with category / domicile advantages — keep as a stretch + safety mix.
Low
Above typical closers. May open in sliding rounds or freeze years, but plan backups in Medium / High bands.
Very Low
Well above historical closers. Useful for awareness only — do not rely on these seats for counselling strategy.

How the BITSAT predictor works
BITS publishes final cut-off scores for first-degree programmes after counselling. Predictor First matches your score against those official finals for Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
Enter your expected or official BITSAT score (0–390). We compare it to the latest final closing score for each campus–programme, and show prior-year columns for trend.
Chance bands use score margin vs the latest official final. Mid-counselling iteration waitlists can differ — treat results as preference-list planning, not allotment guarantees.
Coverage is Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. programmes on the official cut-off page. Dubai and international duals are out of scope for v1.
What this page covers
- BITSAT score → campus × programme final cutoffs
- Latest-year match with multi-year score columns
- High / Medium / Low / Very Low bands for a balanced preference list
- Official source only — not affiliated with BITS Pilani
Method
Score → latest official final → chance band
Your score is matched to the latest BITS-published final cut-off for each programme (390 scale). Prior years (2022–2024) appear as columns for context. Chance bands use score margin above/below that closing score.
